Satellite

Let me first admit that I am not the best person to give advice on the choice of satellite antennas and systems, but I do see what most people are using here on the road and I can also help you to stream other entertainment from your computer. I would suggest using John Huggins as a resource. Check out John and Kathy’s website  or send John and email to the posted address on his site along with the reseller independent outfits at Dish For My RV along with DirectTV’s site oriented towards RVers

We’re just not big TV watchers but our coach came equipped with a King automatic antenna set up for The Dish Network. You’ll most likely choose Dish or Direct TV. I’m not 100% sure about the procedure with Direct TV, but you can set Dish up as pay as you go, using it only for the months that you find yourself traveling.

I see tons of Dish Network Tailgating Systems out here on the road and have discussed the system with a number of campers.

They choose it because it is easy to use – you just stick it outside on the ground, connect it by cable to the recommended receiver:

and you are done and powered. There is no fiddling with the exact alignment, no installation on the roof and no tripods. If you have the Dish Network system at home, at the time of writing, it was just $7 to add this service to your RV.
