I love cooking! At one time I considered making it a career but aviation won my heart. I do miss our big kitchen with big center island, professional cooktop and double oven, now consigned to a 3 burner propane cooktop and convection microwave in our RV.
But, that’s really all you need to create great meals in your motorhome, trailer or 5th wheel. I highly recommend staying away from the prepared food section in your local grocery. There are farmers markets in most areas of the country and most grocery stores these days have a nice organic and fresh food section.
Barb and I did make a stab at a vegan diet at one time but it didn’t work for us. Now we do eat meat but limit our meals to a couple of times a week, mixed with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Here’s a selection of some favorite recipes, adjusted for cooking in a small space with limited equipment with special emphasis on the amazing convection microwave, something that every homeowner should consider.
Enjoy!
